West of Singaraja is string of coastal vilages -
Pemaron, Tukad Mungga, Anturan, Lovina, Kalibukbuk
and Bunut Panggang - which have become popular beach
resorts collectively known as Lovina. The shops, bar
and other tourist facilities don't dominate the place
as they do at Sanur or Kuta. Visitor are hassled with
people trying to sell dolphin trip, snorkelling, sarongs
and so on.
The beach here are black vocanic sand, not the white
stuff you find in the south. The sunset here are very
big as spectacular as those at Kuta, and as the sky
reddenns, the lights of the fishing boats appear as
bright dots across the horizon.
There are now so many places to stay along the Lovina
Beach. The first hotel is north of the main road just
after the six-km marker, the last is nearly 14km from
Singaraja. Here you will find hotel list the we listed
from budget to luxury class.
